Taltos and Bracelets

I just returned home from the vet, after taking Taltos in for the same illness that JoJo had. JoJo was a poor, little, lost kitten. I just had to take care of her! Taltos is the cat that stuck by my side through cancer and all the surgeries and illnesses. I've had him for 6 years. I just had to take care of him, too! Guess 2 trips to the vet for illnesses for pets in less than a week means that my camera buying expedition is going to wait even longer. But, that's ok! JoJo is back to acting like a kitten and Taltos has the meds to get him better. All will be well in kitty world at our house soon! : )

Lynn..... the bracelets fasten with a button or with Velcro. I can do it either way. If you have a preference, I can most certainly make it the way someone wants it made! I've been a bracelet making fiend in this heat, so I've got lots and lots of them done. Which is also ok. There are craft shows on the horizon and I can foresee my bracelets selling like little hotcakes! (Fingers crossed!)

One month from today is wedding day! Amber called me a while ago to tell me that they put a bid on a house yesterday and are pretty sure that they will get it. They won't close before the wedding, but they have enough to keep them busy between now and then anyway! Waiting about a month after the wedding to move will be ok. : )

The boys are still gone this week, but I've heard a rumor that they might be home on Friday. No one tells me a darn thing, so who knows! I hope I'm home when they show up, though. There is that reunion thing going on this weekend. I do hope that Keokuk is ready for this!

Since I came home from work yesterday and pretty much slept the rest of the day away, and came home from work today and spent the next bit of time at the vet, I think it's time for me to do some things around here. Then I might have time for more bracelets later!

Oh! I am making "Girl's night out " bracelets for Amber's bachelorette party! That event is a week and a half away! : )

  1. Hope Taltos recovers as quickly as Jojo did. And when things calm down there lets talk about me buying some of those bracelets!
Know that I care so very much and am still praying!
Psalms 31:1-3 In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me. For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.
