Happy Hot Sunday afternoon! Hmmmmmmm....... wouldn't a Hot Fudge Sundae be the better option??? Oh well, no hot fudge here, just hot, humid July in Iowa weather. Whooooeeeeee..... I know it's a little ways off, but I keep thinking that I hope its not this hot for Amber and Dustin's wedding!!!!! I'd probably melt! Or drink too much trying to keep cool. Or dance like a fool because my feet were burning on the hot ground. Or... ????? : ) In the mean time, I'm sure going to pray for cooler weather for August 20th!!!
As for JoJo the kitten. Finally today she is starting to act a bit more like a normal kitten. When I took her to the vet on Friday she had a temp of almost 106 degrees. She wasn't dehydrated and they couldn't find a thing wrong with her, other than the temp. No sores, broken bones, heart and lungs good.... just a very lethargic and obviously sick baby. They gave her some IV fluids, to keep her from getting dehydrated, and a shot of antibiotics. We started her on antibiotics at home yesterday. She's been eating wet cat food, with extra water in it, but up until this morning we still had to carry her to eat, use the litter box, etc. This morning she came downstairs by herself and is getting herself where she needs to go. She is still sleeping most of the time and obviously not yet a normal, playful kitten, but she seems to be headed in the right direction now. Poor baby. Even Taltos is behaving almost civilly to her. And Buddy keeps good tabs on her. Hoping and praying that she will be healthy and happy soon!!!!
There was a bridal shower for Amber this afternoon. So much fun! I'm on outfit number 2 for the wedding! I still have to figure out what to wear to the Rehearsal dinner and, of course, the Bachelorette party! Oh wait! We are getting shirts for that. : ) That helps greatly with that wardrobe for that event! I am going to just have to quit shopping between now and then though, or who knows how many times I'll end up changing outfits for the wedding. And I really like what I have now, so I don't want to find something that I like better! Mom and Amy and I have hit the stores a lot in the past week. Whew. I'm going to have to get back to work tomorrow and start replacing the money I've spent!
I have been keeping very busy the past several days, in my spare time, making bracelets. I am having so darn much fun making them! I have been asked to go to a craft show in Sept., so at this rate I'm going to be very well stocked with inventory for that event! Which is fine. I may have issues with my actual wardrobe, but I will be extremely well set with a bracelet wardrobe if I don't sell any of them! : )
Still no camera. We looked at some last night, but I have a couple of other things that I want to do regarding this wedding, so the camera may just have to wait. I'm not sure I can survive without a camera, but since I'd rather spend some time with family and friends doing things, rather than buying a camera and sitting at home wishing I were out and about, that may be what happens. If it is, there will be other people there with cameras I'm sure. It will all work out.
So, JoJo is getting better. The wedding is getting closer. My 3oth Class Reunion is this coming weekend..... I'm soo looking forward to that event, too! It's back to work tomorrow. I'm rolling right along and the rolling is good! Thanks for stopping by!
Glad Jojo's getting better! But no. no, no! That's the wrong date for a wedding! Our anniversary is on the 21st and it was over 100 in Chicago and I did melt! Do you have a cell phone with a camera? Works for me!

Psalms 27:1, 4-5 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?...One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
About the bracelets...how do they fasten?

Psalms 27:7-9 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek. Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

Psalms 27:13-14: I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
