Let's take a little tour around our yard and some of the things you can see in it and around it. The above planter was just planted yesterday and sits on the front porch.

The daisies below are blooming in my mom's yard, but they look great from here!

This little guy is a snail that Mom got for me last summer when we were at the Amana's. He is guarding the old stump, that will hopefully sometime have flowers growing in it!

This is what I saw when I was sitting on the patio. Lovely!

We do have some dandelions. Sigh. But even they have a simple kind of beauty.

Mom gave me this darling cow for Easter. Hopefully I can keep the flower in it alive!

The neighbors on the other side have a Peony bush that faces our house. It's almost in full bloom and is awesome!

Can't have an afternoon outside without my dogs! Buddy is being king of the hill, by climbing up on the wall around the patio. Chester, as usual, is lovin' him some grass time!

Now you've seen what I see in and around our yard. It's another gorgeous day here in the river hills. We are headed off to church, then home to do some grillin' and chillin'!
