I downloaded pictures from my camera a little while ago and the above picture was the first one on my camera. That is a picture of Jordan's computer screen. He typed that, took a picture of it, and waited for me to find it. Awwwwww. It was a sweet surprise!!!
Oh look! It's Peg. She's taping around a window in the upstairs of their house. And look at that wall on the left. It's partially painted! So, guess what I got to do today?!!! I "helped" Peg paint! : )
This is looking from the top of the stairs to the bottom. See that nice, hardwood floor at the bottom? See how nice and clean it is? It stayed that way until Peg had me stand at the bottom of those stairs, holding onto the paint pan. All I had to do was stand there, while she washed paint off of her hands. While the dog laid there and watched me, I tilted the paint pan.... and poured a nice puddle of paint onto that nice hardwood floor at the bottom of the stairs. Good grief! I screeched. Peg and I scrambled around and ran around and wiped and scrubbed and cleaned that paint up off of the floor. The dog laid there and watched us the whole time. Fortunately for me, the paint did all come up off of that floor!
There is Peg! She's taping along the woodwork going down the stairs. Obviously, my main job, other than spilling paint all over, was to photographically document the occasion! : )
Oh wait! What's this? That, my friends, is the closet. I got to paint the closet! All by myself! I got my own paintbrush and small can of paint. Wow!!! Me. And paint. In a closet! Heheee. I even got to lay on the floor and do my best Michelangelo impression by painting under and behind the shelves. I did look up at the ceiling while lying on the floor, if that makes me more Michelangelo-ish!
There's Peg again. Hard at work at the bottom of the stairs.
Now I'm on the stairs and Peg is in the room above, painting away. (I was finished with my closet masterpiece by this point.)
Lookin' Good Peg!
Wow! She even broke out the big stick to get to the hard to reach places! I probably would have kept my short brush/roller and tried to stand on something at some funky angle to paint this. Peg always has been smarter than me! : )
Except for a few touch-up things, the room did get finished today. Oh yeah! And the closet did, too! : )
I even managed to "frost" my hair. Fortunately, a shower took care of this frost job!
So, that was my day! Well, Peg did take me out for lunch after the great painting escapade. I did some sewing. It was a mighty good day! : )
You're so funny! Glad you had a mighty good day!

Psalms 63:1-2 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
Continuing to lift up prayers!
ReplyDeletePsalms 63:5-8 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
Christ Himself gives us these promises. Know that I'm here praying!
ReplyDeleteRevelation 21:5-7 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
When things get bad, Christ is our Rock! Praying!
ReplyDeletePsalms 62:1-2 Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
