Ok. I've tried and I've tried. I've lost more posts than I can count! For some reason I simply cannot get a post on here about my mom's birthday and Surprise party! I've tried copying it from word, I've tried doing it on here. Heck, I even put the darn post on a disc and tried to put it on here from that. I had to do a system restore on my puter to even get those attempts done!
So, this is it. The only post that you will get about my mom's 75th Birthday and the Surprise party that we had for her. Above is my mom giving a good friend of her's a hug. That good friend helped me to keep Mom busy all that morning, so that she wouldn't notice things going on over here, across the way!
This is another one of Mom's friends who helped to keep her busy that morning. In fact, they all hung out at this lady's house and played cards and no one would let Mom go home. Amber and the boys hijacked her for lunch and then we did manage to surprise her greatly with the party! It was so much fun! : )
Those 2 ladies above, along with a few more of mom's good friends, adapted this book for Mom for her birthday. Note that the person being pushed in the wheelchair has mom's picture! And some of her friends are looking out of the doors at the top of the book. The entire book has been adapted like that, pictures and words changed to make it a personalized book for Mom! What an awesome idea and gift! : )
I don't know if I have all of the pictures of the Birthday events on Facebook, but I will make sure that they are there. I'm still not sure what in the world is causing my issues on here, but I hope they go away soon. I've got more stuff to post!
Hope you are all enjoying your summer and are staying safe. Thanks so much for stopping by and checking on us! : )
Thanks for trying so hard! Don't understand why things have to be so hard on here!
ReplyDeleteThe Lord knows everything you're going through and is there with you every step of the way. Praying!
Hebrews 4:15-16 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

ReplyDeleteHebrews 6:17-20 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
Continuing to lift up prayers!
ReplyDeletePsalms 91:1-2 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
