Easter Snap Shots

That up there is/was my Easter project. I made the stand out of some slow bake clay. Then, I chopped a hole in that egg, rinsed it and dried it and painted both things. I stole a tulip bud from my mom's yard, and there it it! I had a dozen to do, but I'm having an issue with my arm shaking, so that project just didn't get finished. If the eggs aren't broken by next Easter maybe I'll get to finish them!

This is some of the sampling on the buffet at Mom's. She made the truffles... yummy things! She and a couple of her friends made enough of those yummy truffles for Eric and Candice's wedding that there was one at every place setting. Now she's practicing up making them for a chocolate tasting and sale at her church. I'm betting that will be a popular event! (Proceeds go to the Roquette workers that are locked out if anyone is interested.)

Jonah created his own Easter basket out of Lego's. That is what a boring afternoon and more Lego's than any normal child should have will get you!

The mantle at my Mom's.

The center of the island in the kitchen.

More yummy truffles!

Easter dinner.

Jordan and Jonah got golf clubs for Easter from grandma. It didn't rain and there was a practice session in the back yard!

Jordan and his left-handed clubs. This is the first time he's been able to try golfing, because we didn't ever have left handed-clubs before.

Bruce helping the boys with the finer points of holding a golf club! Or... maybe not!

We had a fantastic Easter. Great weather, great food, and the most awesome family I could ever ask for. The Easter church service was probably the most wonderful service I've been to in years and years. Blessings were abundant here this weekend. I hope they were for you, too!
