I need to start this post with an apology. My post yesterday was simply my way of trying to convey my feelings about this place, the people here, how I feel welcomed and befriended and home. The three friends that I mentioned yesterday are but a fraction of the people that I count as friends here. I guess I was trying to show different levels of friendship for me, as an example, but I didn't make that very clear. For those of you who are my friends, and weren't mentioned yesterday, I do apologize. Sincerely.

I can't write a post about all of the people who matter to me in this town. I don't have the room. Add on the people who matter to me who used to live here, and I'd be blogging on that one subject for weeks. I can say that, if I am in contact with you, in some way, be it on line, by phone, or in person. Whether you only get a Christmas card from me or a birthday wish once a year, you matter to me. Sometimes the vast abilities of our communication levels now, give us a connection that isn't personal. It's easy to befriend someone on Facebook, and then never have a communication with them again. It shouldn't be a race to see who can get the most FB friends. On line, as in person, the people I'm in contact with matter to me. So, if you're name wasn't mentioned in my blog, it doesn't mean that you don't matter to me. If you're reading this, if you are connected to me in person or online, you matter to me.

I've been trying to get settled, get a job, deal with a lot of things since moving. If I haven't yet seen you in person, you are more than welcome to stop by. Or, eventually I'll get to your house!

Happy Friday!!!

  1. Well I didn't think you only had 3 friends there and understood that you were just picking a few to talk about. Hope everyone else did, too!
Whatever the Lord allows to happen in your life, He'll get you through! Praying!
Psalms 91:9-12 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
