From bad to good.
Today was one of those days that didn't start out so well. I woke up before my alarm, which was a good thing. I love waking up before my alarm goes off. I do so much better if I wake up on my own rather than being rudely awakened by an electronic device! So, I was feeling pretty good about the day, until Jordan got up. Sigh. He tested negative for strep on Monday, but today I could tell that we had a whole different ballgame going on. I could smell the difference. You know that strep smell? That nasty smell that lets you know that, despite the fact that you woke up in a good mood, things were not going to be quite as nice as you had hoped! I went off to work... at the doctor's office. Came home at noon-ish. Worked on some laundry. Then, went and sat in another doctor's office, where it was positively confirmed that Jordan does indeed have strep throat yet again. I'm soooo sick of this crap! I know that there could be a whole lot worst medical beast that we could be dealing with, but good grief! So, both boys are back on antibitics... a new one for each of them. Jonah will go back next week when his meds run out and will be tested right away again. I'm so praying that they are healthy soon. They are tired of being sick. I'm tired of them being sick. I'm tired of spending so much time in a doctor's office where I'm not being paid to be there! If this keeps up a whole lot longer, I'm going to be begging the docs for some valium or something for me!!! : ) However, today has ended a whole lot better. Amber won a free massage from a drawing from a bridal fair, so she came to town today to get her free massage. After that, we had supper all together at Mom's. We dug out some old photo albums and laughed over old pictures. We made some plans to work on some wedding stuff with Amber next week. Even Buddy and Chester followed me over to Mom's and went in the house at one point. They know where they are welcome!!! Now I'm back home, as are the boys. Amber has headed back to her house and Mom is snuggled up next door. I'm in my comfy clothes, feet up, and relaxing for a while before heading to bed. A day that started in a not so good of a way has ended in a very wonderful way. Will keep praying for health for the boys and continue to enjoy each day as it comes.

So a thought just hit me...it seems somewhere way in the back of my brain I knew of a family who kept getting strep and it ended up that someone who wasn't even acting sick was a carrier. So this is way out there but is it possible that someone else could be a carrier and keep reinfecting them?

Psalms 9:9-10 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
