I haven't been out to take more new pics. A touch of the flu and working in the house to try to get even more things organized...ha!..... I've been keeping busy, even tho it might not seem like it to others.

If you didn't know, we have lots and lots of eagles that winter here. The open water beneath the dam provides them with fishing all winter. We even had one kill another bird in our backyard shortly after we moved in. They are everywhere! But awesome! Bald Eagle Days are held in January every year. It's always nice and frigid for that, but it also is wonderful. They are amazing birds and it is a treat to get to watch them while they are here.

That building is the South Lee County courthouse. It's been refurbished inside and it's gorgeous. There are lots and lots of old, nifty, gorgeous old buildings here. Huge, old houses line Grand Avenue, overlooking the River. Huge, old houses, dot the entire city. Some of the are looking shabby on the outside, but, like this one we are in, are wonderful on the inside. There is history in those old buildings, like the court house above. There is history in every inch of soil in the world. The history here is something that I can feel.
We got snow last night, but not as much as was forecast, which is good. Jonah has a fun day at school today, and will be spending most of his day enjoying fun at the Y. Jordan has a dance to go to tonight. I'm gearing up for the family gathering here on Sunday. Yeah!!!!! I'm stoked!
Off to do more stuff now. Thanks for stopping by.
OH HOW I LOVE EAGLES! There was a story on the news about the release of an eagle around here. Amazing to see her fly away! Any times you want to have pics of eagles on here...please do!
