Winnie the Pooh and Baby, too!

Grandchild (grandson), Great-Grandchild, #1 isn't due to join us until July.  Above is his crib.  Waiting for him with the crew from Winnie the Pooh.  All of those giant, soft Pooh Crew members were Candice's when she was small.  Now, they are ready for her son.

This is the rocking chair that will be used to rock the sweet little guy.  Complete with Winnie the Pooh blanket and story book.
Pooh lamp, picture frame and small statue on his dresser.  (Those drawers are all filled with baby stuff, too!)
This just cracks me up!  That is an Eey-Ore (sp) Chair.  My grandson already has a "time out" chair.  The idea is to paint some rain clouds in the area where this will set, giving Eey-Ore's not so happy place that rainy day feeling.  He's not even due to arrive until July and already he has a time-out chair.  I'm soooo lovin it!
This is the top shelf in little boy's closet.  There is a baseball cap and 4 pairs of shoes up there.  And, I can tell you that, the other day, 4 more pairs of shoes arrived for him.  And, Eric has already purchased him a pair of cowboy boots!
Those are the clothes hanging in his closet.  There is an Iowa Hawkeyes outfit, lots of cammo, Winnie the Pooh, a leather bomber jacket, and scads of things for the well dressed boy!

This is Junior's Pack n Play.  Cammo, of course!

Do you think that perhaps, just maybe, this little fella is going to be welcomed into this world and well loved?  His room is almost ready for him.  Yes, it's not quite done.  I still have curtains to make!  Great Aunt Julie will be painting some Winnie the Pooh characters on a wall.  And, I'm darn sure that his dresser drawers and closet are not yet done being filled with clothing and other items that a baby needs!  : )

Oh, and yes, in case you were wondering, there are diapers and wipes  (and a wipe warmer!) and other assorted items all in the ready, too.    Lots of folks are looking forward to July and meeting the little guy.   I know that I am!!!!

Eric will be home in a little over a week.  He'll be working out of this area, so that is good.  Candice, and the dogs, will be more than a little happy to have him home, I'm sure.  I'm also sure that he will be very happy to witness the rest of the pregnancy first hand.  And to be here when the little guy joins us in July.

I believe that this is already one very loved, very cherished baby.  He is very blessed.  And so are we.
