Wicked

A while back my mom decided that we should go see the play Wicked.  All of us.  In Des Moines.  She and Amy fired up the puter, bought tickets.... 10 of them.... found a super cool motel and made reservations.  Tomorrow morning we will pile into vehicles and make the trip to Des Moines.  Dustin can't go and Eric can't go.  They have to work, so Peg, my cancer buddy, is going with us.  (She and I might get pretty good at road trips!)   The boys are more excited about the motel than the play.  (An indoor water park is what they are looking forward to!)   Rumor has it that there is a Tiki Bar involved, and we do have  pool side rooms, so the rest of us are looking forward to an awesome, relaxing time!

I'm sure, knowing our family, we will have a wonderful time!  Let's just hope that we don't get kicked out of the motel for laughing too loudly!  : )

Oh yeah, I am truly very excited about going to see Wicked, too.  I love plays!!  I was in kindergarten when we went to Washington DC for Christmas and I saw The Nutcracker Suite.  That's the first play I remember.  There is such a neat atmosphere at a live performance that you don't get at a movie.  This ought to be a great performance!  Can't wait!!!!

Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy your weekend!  I know that I will enjoy mine!  : )

The Lord is working, even during trying times! Praying!
Romans 5:3-5 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Isaiah 25:4 For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
